30-min call to map the night. Genre lanes, must-plays, do-not-plays, special moments (first dance, last call, anniversary toast). Written timeline.
DJ on-site 1 hr before doors. Cables routed, levels set, monitors checked, lighting tested. You don't see any of this; it's done.
QR code at the booth → guests can request without crowding. DJ filters obvious crowd-killers. Optional: shut requests off entirely.
Wireless mic, scripted intros, smooth handoffs to speakers. Wedding party intros, corporate award reads, end-of-night last calls.
Two laptops, two USB sticks, hot-swap deck. If something blows up mid-set, you don't notice. We've never not finished a set.
