Ten years in East Austin. Built from nothing into one room that recorded, rehearsed, performed, and broadcast. For years, one of two rooms in the city open all night.
The Oven grew into a 350-cap studio, rehearsal space, live venue, broadcast station, production house, and creative agency. The same Midas M32 that mixed The Wailers rides with the mobile rig now. Real gear, real engineers, no shortcuts.
Sara Landry built her sound in this room before she became a global techno headliner. The Oven ran warehouse-style shows the whole city followed, across drum and bass, jungle, techno, and the experimental edges. A 24/7 station still streams the songs that came out of the building.
Right now The Oven is between buildings, hunting the next room on the east side of Austin. Not just a studio: a room built for sessions, for weddings and the nights people remember, and for artists to stay, record, and create. The rig rolls, the school enrolls, the station streams, the software ships. We design and build studios for other artists too, the room and the acoustics, not just the records cut in them. The Oven was never the address. It's the people and the work.
